Core4™ Technology
The most current breakthrough in asphalt shingle innovation, Core4™ boasts four main features that contribute to the durability of the StormMaster® shingle:
Class 4 wind impact resistance – Atlas has created a wider shingle (42”) with a larger nailing area (1.5” Sweet Spot™) and a double FASTAC® adhesive sealant line that allows your StormMaster® shingles to truly act as protective armor for your roof that will not budge during rain, hail and high winds (up to 150mph – the highest possible rating in asphalt roofing shingles).
Durable flexibility – StormMaster® Shake shingles are constructed of a rubberized SBS polymer that allows for bending without cracking or breaking, making them the perfect choice for standing up to extreme hot and cold temperatures as well as the impact of wind, rain and hail.
Advanced polymer construction – The advanced polymer materials used in the construction of the StormMaster® Shake shingles with Scotchgard™ Protector by 3M include the latest in algae-resistance: copper-infused granules that allow your shingles to remain beautiful for the life of your roof.
